Technical Director
Richard began his working life at British Steel (actual date undisclosed) after many years studying theoretical chemistry and mathematics at Sheffield University. He has a strong background in management and product development.
Richard set up Natech with Alison Hartopp in 2002 in order to bring their conversion coat technology into the market place. Richard manages the technical side of the company and is constantly “having ideas” for new products.
Outside of work Richard enjoys cross country running and mixed terrain cycling. He usually has his dog by his side.
Managing Director
Alison started her career in 1983 working as an analytical chemist at Cleanaway Ltd (now Veolia). She worked as an analyst for a number of years before moving into a technical sales role with Novamax Technologies where she became involved in the beverage can industry and gained a wealth of experience in metal pretreatment processes.
She set up Natech Limited in 2002 with Richard Foster and runs the sales and marketing side of the business.
Alison is a member of MENSA and a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Outside of work Alison can usually be found on an athletics track. Although she has recently retired from competition she is a qualified endurance coach and a national level official.
Production Manager
Amanda started her career in 1992 and has a wealth of experience in customer service, accounts and purchasing.
Amanda has been with Natech Ltd since June 2008, she has progressed her way through the company to Site Manager and now oversees the day to day running of the business. She deals with all purchasing, sales, production scheduling, stock control and logistics. She was also a key player in helping implement the ISO9001 accreditation
Amanda is a huge Formula One racing fan.
Business Development
Jess began her career in 2014 as an apprentice in a Landrover dealership. This has given her experience in customer service and sales (not to mention a love of cars).
Jess joined Natech Ltd in 2017 in a business development role with the initial intention of expanding the wheel stripper business and helping to grow the e-commerce platforms. She is now one of the first points of contact for new customers at Natech Ltd.
Jess is a huge football and Manchester United fan and has played competitively since the age of 8. She now plays for Northwich Vixens where she has a regular spot in the first team.
Manufacturing
Fenner started his career on building sites in 1982, building new homes, petrol filling stations, industrial units and extensions.
He started working at Natech Ltd in September 2011 part time, he is now our full-time chemical blender.
His passions are football with his beloved team Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Moto GP with the legendary Valentino Rossi.
CTO (Chief Treat Officer)
Born late on the 30th of December 2022, rumour has it that the entire world stopped and celebrated Archie’s arrival with fireworks a few hours later.
Head hunted by Jess to provide a morale boost to the whole Natech team, Archie has since gone above and beyond to ensure no member of staff goes unlicked. He happily completes all tasks with energetic spirit and enthusiastic tail wags.
Proficient in a wide range of tricks.
Will do anything for a treat.
